When Justin Hunter dropped a pass in Wednesday morning's practice it caused everyone including Dooley to do a double take. Hunter, who's harder on himself than anyone, continues to flourish and grow as a receiver. Baggett, who's coached numerous all-pro receivers including Randy Moss, believes Hunter's potential is through the roof.

"I think his capacity is unlimited," Baggett said. "I hate to get too excited about young guys too early but he's a guy that really excites me. I think he can handle a lot, I really do. I think he's played a lot of ball but if you look at it, he's really young. He's a freshman and a sophomore coming off a freshman season. I'm excited about the fact that we can give him more, we move him in the slot, we put him outside, we put him in the one-back, one-receiver set. He can do a lot of things. I think he can handle it."

I honestly believe that. He has all the natural ability in the world and great hands. He's only a soph and he is a bona fide play maker. When he is a JR, look out.

If he stays focused on FB the skies the limit.

He's like Chris Hannon but with actual ball skills. It will be interesting to see what both he a DaRick do together over the next 2-3 years

You all are missing the point of the article....Hunter dropped a pass!! Take cover as the sky is hanging by a cloud and there is no way we can beat Cincy when Hunter drops a pass...sarcasm but I thought I would get it out of the way before the negavols come out and say it

Hunter has the potential to be yes, but let's not put the ceiling so high fir him even he can't jump that high. He will have some great games but let's just set back and enjoy and not set your hopes too high for a sophmore.

I love Hunter's speed and ability to stretch the field, but I feel over time this season and next, D. Rogers will be the true number one receiver of our 2 great recievers. I will compare it to say Irvin with the Cowboy teams of the 90s and Rice of the 49ers, I just like his hands and strength when catching the ball in a crowd. Don't get me wrong I think Hunter may have more touchdowns and possibly yards but I see Rogers as a 100 plus catch guy and main security blanket for Bray just get the feeling he will be the guy you can count on when you need that key first down. JMO and GBO.

Thats kinda my take, and to take that analogy a step further, Hunter would be A.Harper to Rogers Irvin

I like the direction this kid is heading in. He will get better and I look forward to watching him do it.

Seeing him more involved in the short passing game vs. Montana says volumes. No longer just a threat on the fade route in the red zone. He's going to be a dandy all-around receiver. Let there be a little opening and kiss it goodbye, DBs.

Well I'd actually like to see how he'd react to SEC cornerbacks jamming him at the line. We'll see how well those extra "15 pounds" will help him.

I agree and believe D Rogers will be right there with him. Hunter is faster but Rogers is more physical. Nobody has 2 better pair of WRs. And if those 2 and Bray continue to develop they can break some Vol records no doubt. Still need a slot man to step up. Hopefully one of the FR or Neal does. Will take pressure off those 2 and give Bray another option.

Racist imo. Only similarity I see is being black.

He is a great player but has a long way to go still to even be remotely considered the greatest WR at UT.

Exactly..He could be one day but has a ways to go. He and Rogers could break some Vol records if they stay their 4 years. Would love to see 2 Vol receivers with 65+ catches and 1000 yrds a piece. Not sure when that last happened.
