Yes, I meant Bruce. I agree, the lie, not the cook-out, was his "humping the shark" moment.

I think very soon, Holly will "hump the shark". It could even be possible, that she has already done that.

A sight to behold? It was a sight alright. But if someone tries to make me behold that again, may bags of dog poo be burned on his porch every night.

Yes, sir. But, that game will always be special to me. First time, I took my son, to Neyland Stadium. Even tho, our defense was an embarrassment, that day, it was a fun game, if u enjoy offense. Justin Hunter and Tyler Bray were great that day, but my son, was amazed by the show that CP, put on, in that game, as was I.

The term "jumping the shark" is the moment that marks the decline for a TV show and represents the beginning of the end.

Sadly for you I am almost 100% sure Butch is aware of the fact he is lacking in the correct organs, swimming ability and bite strength to go off humping sharks. so this thread is in vain.

IMHO Butch Jones has done, at the very worst, what is required to take us to the next level. From where he inherited this mess that is. Have I agreed with everything he has done nope (his handling of Hurd to me could have been handled differently) but for the most part has has made at least explainable choices in his time here and, for the most part, choices that benefit this program long term.

Honestly I do not know how the hurd thing could have been handled better I just know it was wrong. It was obvious from Day 1 he did not fit the offense no matter his talent level. The fact it took 3 years for it ot all hit the fan is amazing to me. but butch was in an impossible situation. If he lets Hurd go to another school at that point he gets crucified even though there was no place in thies offense that could showcase his full talents. Hurd to bama=heisman. The fact he was not capable of that here is not a bad reflection of butch it shows where we were on Oline recruiting/talent and scheme. Hurd is a pure RB put him behind a FB and watch the yards pile up.That is not the offense we run.
