He beat Va Tech & Syracuse, and was a blocked FG away from beating NC State. No these aren’t big powers, but Liberty still has players on the roster from when they were an FCS school. They were at a massive talent disadvantage to all 3 of those schools and was a FG away from beating better teams, while we lost to UK & ARKY. That is pure coaching

They didn’t hire Him because Basketball was already under investigation. If Basketball wasn’t in trouble then he’d have had a better shot

Austin Price (On Swain Event today) said Freeze WILL be hired by some Power 5 school within the next 2 years. He also said, if a school wanted to hire him in this league right now, they could.

I guess it gives them hope. This still reminds me of all the Gruden rumors. Heck, some of the same ones trying to break news now were here then trying the same b.s.

They knew nothing then, and they still don't. They make wild guesses hoping one of them happens just to get internet cred, lol.

I didn't watch the presser but if Freeze tried to talk his way outta that call....... he's a bad liar. Nobody hands off the ball to take a knee.

He didn't lose his job because of the underage girls' accusations. He lost his job due to recruiting violations (lack of institutional control) and then blaming Nutt. When Nutt's attorney requested phone records (FOIA), multiple calls to an escort agency were discovered over a few years, and that didn't go well with the university. Those were facts yet not criminal; hence, no conviction needed.

To be clear the underage girl accusations are like 20 years old. He supposedly asked a girl to change her shirt because the one she had on violated the schools code. He SUPPOSEDLY asked her to do it in his office with her back turned so he could immediately confiscate the shirt. Ridiculous that unfounded rumors 20 years old keep coming up.
