And to think he chose us over Ohio State.

Man, don't know how we will get back now if all the best players go elsewhere, we all knew we wouldn't keep everyone, just seems like we lost 4 of our best recruits in the past week.

This one really hurts since it is a position of importance. Current tight ends are serviceable at best and a true talent is badly needed. The other issue that is even more alarming is that with his de-commitment, we have only secured the commitment of 1 of the top 10 Tennessee recruits and 4 of the top 20. In my opinion this should be a huge red flag of how far down we have fallen. If you cannot convince more than 20% of the top talent in Tennessee to come to the state's flagship university, there is an obvious problem.

How would you know if they're serviceable or not? Fant has 9 receptions on the year. Six have come in the last two games. JG's weakness and slowness in reading D's... left the TE's unutilized.

Pruitt and Fulmer's new plan is to basically waste this recruiting cycle and try to bring in enough transfers to beat up on our cupcake out of conference schedule next season and pick off two or three of our fellow SEC bottom feeder brethren to achieve bowl eligibility and declare that the train is back on the rails after a 'hiccup' due to COVID. They will give themselves another round of raises an extensions.
