If Harvin can't go then Bama wins it.

If Harvin is even 80% healthy, the team speed wins out and UF will be national champs again.

I think OU beats Alabama.

But yeah, if UF wins Saturday they beat the Sooners.

I liked what someone said, "Florida is football's best track team."

I think an OU - Bama matchup would be fantastic.

That's the best way to describe Florida

Could it be an Offensive Coordinator from a big Southern Program?

If so, it could be Jim McElwain (spelling?), the OC at Bama.

He came from Fresno State I believe, and that is where Lane played college.

Wouldn't be right if we didn't screw Bama somehow.

I was just at a TB Bucs message board, and most of them are resigned to Monte leaving. Several local Tampa television stations reported it yesterday. I hope they're right.

I believe that he can get out of the contract by retiring from the NFL.

Hubbs also said that Coach O might be "watching" LSU for development-openings as he wants to stay in Louisiana.

Hubbs also mentioned that a coach from USC-Trojans who coached with CLK might be on our o-staff. Cannot recall his name--someone will chime in?

Hubbs was on Nashville Sports Radio this morn'.

Hubbs also said CLK was leaving tonight to go on a player recruiting visit. He did not specify who/where.

Some of this sounds a little too good.

Hmmm... best D in the SEC? Bama... we take their DC.

Best O in the SEC? UF... we take their OC.

That would be fun!

Keisling said on the radio broadcast last night that his first stop was in Memphis which would probably point to Marlon Brown.

Tony Barnhardt on CSS's Talkin Football said that he had just gotten off the phone, and the Monte deal was not a sure thing. This was last night of course. He said UT had gone out on a limb with not having both of them signed on the dotted line.

I hate Bama worse than any team, but if they barely lose to UF I think it would only be fair to rematch them and Fla. in the BCS title game.
