On Nashville radio this morning, Hubbs said Monte was all but a done deal. He did say that Monte indicated in the Tampa Bay presser yesterday that it was only speculation at this time, but Hubbs felt that Lane dismissing the entire defensive staff was a strong indication that the defensive staff was lined up.

Hubbs seemed less sure of Orgeron than Monte. He said the LSU situation could keep Orgeron away.

Lane has been telling everyone that Monte is coming along, including recruits. That isn't something to tell people without being 100% sure it's happening. Also, it could be possible that we will bring in Steele and Monte. I doubt we could pull Steele, Monte, and O, but I'd take 2 of 3 for sure.

Because he isn't happy at Bama, that's been noted. He could be our LB coach and DC in waiting alot like the speculation was over Orgeron, except O would be at DL. Kirby Smart is the acting DC at Bama with Steele as the Defensive HC.
