How will you feel if we lost one or two more games?

Any season which includes a loss to KY or Vandy or any OOC cupcake should be considered a partial failure at least.

Given the win streak last season and what should have been some semblance of development in the younger guys a 7-3 record shouldn't have been too much to hope for.

Looks like a very long shot at this point.

Lots of folks will be like....5-5.....hey that’s positive.....that’s good.

They say that NOW........5-5 would be a let down to me. I get it...I’m already let down...but there is room for redemption.....pre season 5-5 “should” have looked like the floor.....we shouldn’t be “hoping” for the floor.

To me Tennessee simply has more talent than 5 other teams on their schedule......surely in year 3 you can pull out just 1 other win and get to 6 or better.....albeit that was before the Kentucky loss.

5-5 in an all SEC sechudle would be about the same as last year. We were 5-3 in SEC play last year. So it wouldn't be something to be excited over but also it wouldn't show regression either I suppose. 6-4 is something the coaches desperately need to reach.

5-5 isnt great but it would indicate at least a moderate turnaround from the current trajectory

Any losses the rest of the year are bad losses. Arky is probably the toughest team left on there...they look good, but the refs have been proven ready to cheat against them. An advantage!

Sadly, I believed before the season started that 5-5, or even worse, was likely. That doesn't mean that I was ever going to be okay with it.

Forget about how many wins for the rest of the season, its the performances on the pitch which concern me. With a sieve like secondary, a D Line that may have given up, a vanilla game plan all because of a very limited quarterback.

Please show how we win 3 games? I wanna believe.

Is 5-5 acceptable for this year? Did you expect us to actually do better given the circumstances?
No it is not acceptable when you lose to Kentucky at home for the first time in 36 years. No matter what happens this year it is failure with the type of “talent” we have this year. We have 4-5* star and 1-4* starting on the OLine and Mays and Smith supposed to be first round draft picks but yet we have gotten dominated up front the last 3 games.

Pretty simple. If the clock hits zeroes and the numbers by Tennessee is higher than the opponent 3 times? You got it!

Well, last year we had mississippi state. This year we have A&M and auburn. Pretty big difference in who those teams are.

The same could be said during the 2013-2017 stretch...the west teams we played were at or near their zenith the years we played them...but thatt was just excuses for the last two coaching staffs...

we have 1 win for sure
we have 1 loss most probably
we have 1 loss highly possible
we have 2 toss-ups

gonna be hard to go 5-5 with that list. A probable record coming of 4-6. We win a gimme and one toss-up

Failure. Pure and simple.

We have the talent, returning starters, highly rated newcomers.

We failed to develop a QB and the coach’s have failed to game plan, adjust and meet the challenge.

No matter how you look at it, this year has has been a failure
