How will you feel about Kiffins decision making abilities if they finally break down and bench Crompton and put Stevens in the game and he plays good enough for us to win. I think that this would make me angry at Kiffin for not giving Stevens a chance earlier and maybe salvaging a better winning record. And to reply to what some of you will write, I do not buy in that Stevens is worse than Crompton. NO WAY IS HE WORSE! Even if he is as bad, at least we would know that we didnt leave any stone uncovered.

How would you feel when he plays him and hes worse than Crompton?

Seriously, so many people on here think they know more than the staff does. You guys should seriously be out looking for all the coaching jobs coming open since you apparently know more than our staff.

WRs make those catches in the first half and you would be praising him and the staff on a great win. Sure some were behind them but they got their hands on the balls, they should catch those. This is not high school this is the SEC and if you touch it you need to catch it, period. Help your QB out.

And seriously why are people so stupid in thinking hes keeping Stephens on the bench for any other reason than hes worse than Crompton? How many freshmen have played this season? I just dont get people on here.

We don't have a quarterback Stevens is no better than Crompton. Even if he was, who would catch his passes?

There are some boneheads who cling to that notion. I wouldn't be at all angry with Kiffin though. I'd just think he afforded Crompton every opportunity to succeed and stuck with him for as long as he could before finally seeing the need to pull the string.

We would not know for sure unless it happened.

I don't think you guys get it. He doesn't have to prove it to you that Stephens isn't as good as Crompton.

Break out some film from last season.

I did and at least I saw Stevens complete a few deep balls to Moore. How many passes over 15 yards have you seen Crompton complete this year? Granted Stevens played bad at Wyoming but that was under special circumstances (Fulmer firing), you could tell the life was sucked out of all of the players after that happened. I am just saying if we put Stevens after the Alabama game and he plays fairly well. I am talking game manager well, not Peyton Manning or anything. I will pissed at Kiffin for sticking with Crompton for so long when maybe Stevens could just not lose the game for us.

So on the film from last year you think that Stevens looks worse than Crompton this year? Mabye you need to watch this years film.

To make the claim that there is much, if any difference in JC and NS would be a leap. Who ever he rolls with needs to show some improvement. JC has not shown much, short of not throwing a pick last night.

I'll just be happy if the QB play is better, and won't spend time blaming Kiffin for waiting.. If we waited too long, so be it. We were never going to win anything of substance this year anyways.

the same people who are calling to start stephens would be the exact same people to want crompton back in if stephens struggles.

Can I get a definition of the phrase "worse than Crompton"? If this is true I would almost like to see it like a freak show in the circus or something because it would be so extreme it would be mind blowing.
Does Stevens take every snap and run it the wrong way into the other teams end zone or something and then hand the ball to the closest defender for a td. Thats the only way he could be worse.

Precisely. I agree with every single thing you just said. So....what harm could it do to rotate them against Ga next week? Or just let Stephens start the 2nd half if Crompton is having another spasmodic performance.

He looked bad in every game. He also looked bad when he was trying to display leadership and other players were laughing at him.

If Stevens struggles, what would happen would we lose or something? Oh wait we are already doing that to every team that is not a upper level high school team. No matter what Steves does when he gets in there I will be happy with it. Crompton has had his 9 lives in my opinion and he needs to go and give someone else a shot because he dont have what it takes.

For all you arm chair know it alls that have the audacity to question Kiffin, take a trip to wikipedia and check out his resume during his tenure at USC. Give him 3 years. He's already proven his worth as a recruiter here.

Ok so if Nick gets on the field and does just as bad or worse, then what will you want? Put Lamaison in? Come on. I think these coaches with all of their experience know when a quarterback is or is not able to play. Stephens will see the field only if Crompton gets hurt. Kiffin doesn't want to do what Coach Fulmer did last year. IMHO rotating struggling quarterbacks makes it worse.
