I seriously think we can get 18 or 19 wins if he can get us to play defense.

I think that if he can get jamont and tyler smith, we can be good. Illinois isn't big on the inside and thee winning, why can't we?

Illinois had more than one player who can shoot the ball. We ONLY have one......maybe one and half if you count CJ Watson at the end of the year.

I heard theat tyler smith is pretty gifted. We can use him on the inside.

He will win because he will MAKE the kids play defense, play with effort and he can recruit. I beg the VN to support CBP in making Vol hoops all that it can be. He is likeable, positive, proven and a winner. Go Bruce Go!!!!!

His teams score points and create points off of turnovers. You have to take the good with the bad and accept giving up some points and some easy points. But if you look at his history he always has one of the top scoring offenses and top offensive FG percentage in the nation.

20 wins is a possibility, but I will say in year 2 it will be a certain.

That kid that sat most of the year that transfered from Ga. can shoot lights out as well, and watch for Stanley A. to get more playing time as well. Stanley is the best athlete on the team.

I agree about Stanley. I think he could see a lot more PT next year.

He'll be ready. 109 years of Bball at UW-M, and he takes them to their first ever dance and to the sweet 16 at that. And that school is basically a commuter school. Probably a squad of unrecruited leftovers. He may have been a mid-major coach his 13 years of head coaching, but that had more to do with black balling than talent.

Does anyone know the records of the schools he has coached the year before he took over. It would be interesting to compare the record the year before he arrived with the record the year after he got there

I think it will be cool to actually see the Vols play basketball after a halftime.

I wish him the best and look forward to a fun season next year.

USI was 11-14 prior to Pearl and in his second year they were in the national championship game and the following year they won the thing. He probably would have won 3-4 more championships if it had not been for a school named Kentucky Wesleyan. For those that don't know this school they have won 8 national championships and have always had great teams. Everyone including Pearl was questioning how they got the talent year in and year out. Well, the truth finally surfaced and Kentucky Wesleyan was taking players that never attended a class in their life. They darn near got the death sentence and had to sit out post season play. Since this time USI has dominated Weslyan.

At UWM they were close to a .500 team and since Pearl took over they hit new milestones each and every year.

We have ourselves a true winner at UT.

15-20 is probably realistic. I think he will win a few more games with this talent then what buzz did. When will the schedule come out?
