How we feeling?

Hope all has been well. Your boy's are looking good so far and I'm more nervous than a politician in a lie detector test. Our run game looks good but downfield throws/reads look shaky. Your new qb is an upgrade and the d looks improved. How are you all feeling? Go Dawgs!
Just run slants/throw over the middle and you'll be fine.

Well, we are playing without both of our starting CB's, our D-Line is already banged up, and our 5 star right tackle who was supposed to start is battling....something and didnt play in the first two games. Otherwise I'm real optimistic, LOL.

I think this is our best opportunity to beat you guys in 9 years. Doesn’t mean I think it happens, but it’s at home and I think we’ve closed the gap to the point where there are some things that are working in our favor .

I’m hoping for no injuries win or lose. I am afraid Georgia and Tennessee are going to leave it all out there and we’ll both be where Georgia and Tennessee were after 2024 season ended. Beaten up and missing our best players. We missed Beck and Sampson in the playoffs.

Can’t afford to take it easy though. This is what happens when two good defenses lock horns.

I'm honestly worried about Stockton and his ability to take off And how Bobo kills us with the TE's. I doubt he goes away from what's worked . That scares the hell out of me. Also, Kirby has always been able to shut down our passing game, no matter who the QB and WR's are. With Ga's secondary, y'all have always been a horrible matchup for us.

We've honestly played better in Athens than in Knoxville under Heupel. Until we can beat you guys, I have zero confidence in us beating GA. Obviously, it will eventually happen, this series has been similar to our Ala series. One team dominates for a decade, then things flip. This is probably our best chance of beating you guys under CJH, but I'll believe it when I see it. With our luck vs Bobo, Stockton will look like a Heisman Passing QB against us. I'd definitely feel better if we had McCoy this weekend. Go Vols!

Tennessee's two best CBs are out, two of our projected starting DL are out for indefinite lengths, and the best remaining one may be out for the UGA game, and our superstar NFL-ready freshman OL is out too.

Just don't feel great about it. If we had our usual run-stopping meat machines in the trenches I'd feel good - not great, but good. We have talent, but the experience is sorely needed for this one.

Smart will chew his team's asses out all week to be ready for this one. "You know why Gameday's coming? They think we're weak. They think we're going down. They want to broadcast Tennessee upsetting us!" Etc. It's his trademark motivational tactic. "Nobody believes in us." Every damn time. He's gonna have UGA worked up to make a statement.

None of this would be an excuse. If we lose, we lose. I just wish we had all the starters we thought we'd have for this one.

Thats a tough deal. I assume we will try to run until you can stop it. The right side of our O-line is banged up so we will see how it works out.

I’d feel better if Kirby came down with a severe case of gonorrhea and couldn’t make the trip.

I think anything can happen in these games. I dont believe either of us have put much on film so we will get a full taste of our teams this Saturday. Hoping for no injuries for either team.

Agreed. I think they both bring it all. We are going to find out how our teams really look after this Saturday.

Part of that was the fact that our 2022 and 2024 teams were better than our 2021 and 2023 teams.

Great post. I lived through all of these. I know we are on the run of my life. Just waiting for the hammer to drop so to speak.

If we can somehow stop slants and passes to the tight ends in space maybe we can win. Georgia is a very good team even though they haven’t really looked the part this year. I suspect we will get everything we want and more.

In Neyland, how the game is called, etc all could influence who wins or loses. I suspect Georgia wins but I think we have a shot. Have a lot of youth at CB and some depth issues on dline, so we’ll see. Hoping for a good game and both teams come out healthy afterwards
