So I'll be working on a PhD at TN for the next few years and want to see how to become a season ticket holder?

You'll have to join the Tennessee Fund. I think the deadline for new members to get season tickets is around the first of summer, I can't remember for sure. You can find information on how to join at utsports.com or uttix.com.

I'd recommend just calling, they're very helpful.

Also are Phd student allowed to purchase student tickets? This obviously would be a much cheaper option if possible.

Forgive me, but let me get this straight.

You are working on a phd and were unable to figure out how to order football tickets.

Is that right?

Where was the bachelor's and master's degree obtained?

Its so much more expensive to buy season tickets now. In my experience they make you donate first, anywhere from $500 for upper endzone to $5,000 for lower sideline per 2 tickets, then pay the ticket cost on top of that. Or you can do what I do and find a seaon ticket holder and buy the games they dont want to for face value.

Ex. My wife and I are going to Montana, LSU, and USCe and sitting lower level 50 yard line row 30 something for around $100 a game.

Thanks for the info. That's why i wanted to ask here.. I know it's not as simple as just going online and purchasing tickets for the game. I didn't know it was such a process.
