How satisfied would you be....

How satisfied would be if we go 9-3 with losses to Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama?

Would a loss in a bowl game deflate the success of the regular season?

What are the chances that this could actually happen?

I'll hang up and listen...... GO VOLS!
I would take that all day

If we went 9-3, CJP would be the SEC coach of the year if not the NCAA coty

Translation : I would be ecstatic.

I would be insanely happy with 9-3. Show me someone who wouldnt be happy with that and I'll show you someone who hasnt watched UT football the last 10 years.

I think it is pretty clear that after the sting of the 3 losses died out, we would be bouncing off the walls and Pruitt would surely win Coach of the Year awards. More than that, I could see us with a Top5 recruiting class going forward and I would be trying to bet the over/under on how many years till we were playing in the NC game.

9-3 would be an impressively strong start to Pruitt's tenure given the happenings of the last two years and the last decade overall.

-3 would be WAY WAY above anything anyone should expect.. This team has Depth questions and is installing a New D and a New O with all new coaches... Dream Big I guess but Vegas says 5.5 Under over on Wins for a reason

Remember the Mad TV skit for the dating service "Lowered Expectations?" The couple waddling into the sunset with their bus-sized broadsides thrusted toward the cameras must have been TN fans.

A 9-3 record this year with all the recent struggles would be amazing! I'm really looking for a hard working and hard hitting football team that fights for 4 quarters. I think 6-6 is doable and most likely.

It won't happen this year. However, I do love how people (Media) are talking about how we are going to get absolutely blistered, annihilated, by WV!! Can't wait till the 4th qtr. to see the look on their face when they realize they are in a ballgame! Get the popcorn ready Vol fans, it's going to be a real show!!

Satisfied is the wrong word. It suggests contentment. I would not be content. Contentment suggests that there is not need to seek more.

But, to your point, I would be very proud of the team and such an accomplishment. It would give us all great cause for optimism about the future of the program.

Ok, with the opener against WVU as Pruitt's first game as a HC with a lot of unknowns as to how far he & staff have been able to rebuild and redirect this team in one offseason, followed by that murderer's row in mid-season, I'd say the chances of a 9-3 season are pretty slim... more like a minor miracle... so would I take it? In a Texas heartbeat, you bet!

How satisfied would you be with the best season in 12 years? Come on, no one would be dissatisfied with that. But it ain’t going to happen. We need to have realistic expectations or this carousel of coaching sadness continues.

The chance of going 9-3? About the same chances as the Browns winning the SB. If we were to somehow gow 9-3, Pruitt would be coach of the year. I would be extremely happy with 9-3.
