Alabama- finished 10-2 , picked 9-3
Arky- finished 2-10, picked 5-7
Aubie- finished 5-7, picked 7-5

UGA- finished 11-1, picked 11-1 losing to the Texas
UK- finished 5-7, picked 3-9
LSU- finished 7-5, picked 11-1 oops

Who would have ever thought UGA and Alabama would play in the SECCG? Probably everybody since it seems they have played 10 years in a row.

Looking back it seems we were pretty well fooked when Nico left after the spring game. Love Joey and he did an excellent job under the circumstances but if he had gone through spring practice would have thrown the int against the Tide and had the fumble against OU?
The missed FG against UGA seemed to set the stage for the remainder of the season.
Also losing the 2 lock down dbs was a killer. Would UGA had completed the TD pass if either had been in the game. Certainly didnt help not getting Sanders full time until half way through the season.
And finally Boo and all his drama certainly didnt help.
One thing we can't criticize is the effort. Just seems like one of those years when what ever, "it," is we jus didnt have it.
