Both Alabama and UF's programs were in much better shape when Saban and Urban started. They also benefit from great in-state talent. CLK will not match their benchmarks, nor should we expect that. However, in three years, we'll compete with UF (Urban will be at ND) and in 4 or 5 (the UT/Bama rivalry will be the top game in the country for NC consideration).

LSU is already dead the water as Miles is the sequel to Larry Coker. CMR is the new CPF. UGA will not be in the mix as we'll be dominating them, again.

This is probably my thinking as well. I agree w/ everything about this post, especially the program being better left off in terms of in-state talent, and talent already on the field. Of course, we might have great talent now, Phil just didn't use it well. Very possible.

BTW, your exactly right a/b Miles...people in LSU still don't like him and he won a NC. He'll be gone 3-5 years.

Definately after. December 21st 2012 the Earth and Sun are in perfect alignment with the giant blackhole in the center of the Milky Way. Something about flipping the polarity of our magnetic field, and possibly even causing the earth to reverse it's rotational direction.
