How many Vol/Hawkeye fans in Jacksonville.

15-20K Iowa fans. Not as good as our usual Florida turnout of 30-35K.

It has nothing to do with the opponent.

It's a 4 day weekend. One day drive each way for most Vol fans, 2 day drive from Iowa.

Using math and not calculus, which I've never found a use for, I'd say we out number them 2 to 1.

I'd say you're about right.

I went to Iowa to work the caucuses for a candidate in Jan 2012. If I lived on that frozen tundra, I'd sure as heck go to FL in Jan. The whole state may be there.

I for one am going and purely because we are in a Florida bowl. I was not all interested in going to Nashville, Memphis or Charlotte. No problem with me going to Florida in January. Don't be surprised if it's a sellout. Lots of Vol fans eager to travel. Don't forget it's been 5 years or more since we played in a Florida bowl game... or January for that matter. A lot to be said about that.

If I campaigned for Obama, I'd refer to him as a "candidate in Jan 2012", too.

From what I've heard about ticket sales, it may look like a home game in Neyland. #checkereverbank?
