How many UT fans going to LA

Has anybody heard how many tickets we sold or how many big orange fans are expected to be at UCLA? We had quite a few fans out there last year for Cal. Just wondering.

I don't know but I expect there to be a lot. Unfortunately, I'll be at home. 8-(

People have been saying that we'll put up anywhere from 12-15k in the rose bowl, including me

Does anyone know if the Pride of the Southland Marching Band will be at the Rose Bowl in full strength?

There will be a pep band in the Rose Bowl just like at Cal last year. Don't think the Athletic Department wanted to fund that cross country trip for 330 people. QUITE EXPENSIVE.

if it was any other weekend i would go. But we got our labor day 96 and I'm comin home. Been way to long...

Me too I will be in LA a week from tomorrow, but I am going with the company that used to be the travel group for the Aumni they were less expensive than Dodd,s (the new company) we are staying at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in LA and they are providing a game day buses for us.

Are there any official VOLS tailgates? I'm sure we'll be able to find the TN gatherings with our kick-a$% orange gear, but does anyone know if there's an official gathering place?

I will be there and bigorange will be there with the tour group. I hope to hook up near the spot they arrive at the stadium for a few beers and stories.

Nope, not my son. New Bern is on the coast of NC between Greenville and Jacksonville, he works for Cutter Bay selling property. I thought I'd retire "Katie" for awhile when I found this pic of Hacksaw, one of my all time favorite Vols.

the consensus is that we'll congregate in lot H pre-game, been offered to join a couple UCLA tailgates there and apparently it's their most lively tailgating spot. there's a bit of info about it here: http://www.volnation.com/forum/tennessee-vols/49054-ucla-game-volnation-get-together.html

We'll be hard to miss at our tailgate with the UT tent and cornhole set. I'm sure the other guys there won't mind if some of ya'll drop buy and have an adult beverage and talk a little UT football

I'll be at the Rose Bowl. Of course, I don't live that far from it. Ha ha! I'm going to Gardena to visit some buddies (UCLA fans who got me a ticket). Let's see how friendly they are after the game.
