personally, i think the more the better... we need to try to experiment a couple times with something new. if it isn't working, you can stop it just as quickly as you started. i dont know why we didnt introduce this against the likes of florida or auburn or georgia. hopefully we'll see EB on offense today.

According to Fulmer, it will depend on whether the defense can get off the field. If Bama has long drives, he doesn't think Berry will have the energy to go on offense.

The whole thing could be just to give Bama something to have to prepare for.

None on offense...I'll go out on a limb and say he gets 2 picks and takes 1 of them to the house.:td:

I don't see any other way but WR. Could run him on an end around play.

This is what bugs me. It is just like when we would put Kenny O Neal in the game. It telegraphs to the defense "hey, we are running an end around." At least if you put him at QB, he can make some people miss from the LOS and still get yards (ex: see Gerald still being able to get yards from the g-gun). An End Around, if it is expected, is near impossible to pull off. You have given up so many yards in the backfield already, and with quick, speedy LBs, unless you juke like 4 consecutive dudes, it is probably a loss on the play.

but, we will probably line him up at WR, the announcers will go crazy, we will run a reverse for -3 yards, and EB will never see the offense ever again. Everyone will say "well, that was overhyped, LOL @ EB" when the coaches didn't even give him a chance to succeed.

I say he will line up on O at WR. He will also play ST and take one to the house.

We need to put him at QB on the first O series and let him pass on his first play. Berry played QB in HS, he can throw the ball. Roll him out and bait the safeties in to play the run and go deep with the pass to 4 wr set flooding to the rollout side. Shake up the D so Saban will have tothink a little

None. If he goes in at offense at all it will be in the infamous G-gun set. Its called the G-gun because when the defense sees it they say, "Great"! All the defensive players then crowd the line of scrimmage and gang tackles the ball carrier. The G-gun works great for the opposing defense just like Chavis' infamous Mustang defense works wonders for the opposing offense.

i think berry will see the field and i would like to see him return the opening kick. i wouldnt mind see him throw the ball on the first series to try to hit a big one and then play wr the rest of the game. still would like to see something with creer berry jones all in the backfield at the same time. Is gerald jones gonna play tonight???

Something tells me that Berry at QB isn't going to ruin Nick's night. I'm hoping we keep it close, but i think i'll be watching OSU/PSU by 9:30 eastern.

I would caution against getting your hopes up for something exciting and innovative. Hope I'm wrong, but I know better than to expect as much out of fulmer & co. Been burned way to many times.
