would Pat Summit have to have to get the Phillip Fulmer treatment?

Wouldn't happen. She'd quit before she dragged a program down into the sewer.

It would never happen anyway. If anybody's gonna beat the Lady Vols it had better be this year. They'll be on a roll soon that nobody will stop.

It's sad that UT football has gotten so bad that it's being compared negatively/wishfully to women's basketball...gag.

Women's basketball only has about 8-12 teams with any parity at all. Less than 15 teams get to spread around all the top talent. Most of those teams only meet in the post season. There's 30 something games. Not a chance the Lady Vols ever field a team that has a losing season.

The only way she gets that treatment is if there is a scandal like the one at LSU or she mysteriously leaves like her former asistant did in Kentucky...

She would never allow a team to become as undisciplined as our football team has. She would absolutely explode on the mistakes that are being made, and she has not backed off her original work ethic.

It wouldn't matter. She has earned the right to drag the program into the sewer, if she wanted, and still be safe of a firing. Pat Summit will leave on her own terms, whenever she wants to.

Laughs at the idea of Pat finishing within 15 games of .500...

You'd have to go back a few years to find a season where Pat lost more games that Phil. Even the National Championship year...Pat didn't lose either...

It would take 27 consecutive 0-30 seasons for Pat to have a losing record on her career.

I think she's safe.

I really don't think Pat would stick around for more than one losing season.

The woman is such a competitor.. she probably wouldn't make it through a losing season... she'd have a stroke yelling at those girls because she would be so peed.

True dat. The Lady Vols will be a bit raw and inexperienced this year, but I forsee a poopfest that will be talked about in Tennessee Athletics lore for years to come.
