By the looks of MR. KIFF'S wife, I'd say 10. But, really with all the new recruits plus what we all have heard and what he keeps, how many do you think we will win? Yes,I know it's not in full swing yet but ,I just thought I'd get a rough estimate. The 10 is my take on his beautiful wife. Man is she a beauty. I wish it was a 10 win season but, I don't think that's reaility. What yall think THE MIGHTY VN?:):good!:

With little or no talent on the roster, Kiffin will have trouble winning more than 7. But, some upsets might be possible when other teams take UT lightly.

Well this is 1 and a half for me and I can ask my friends on here anything I want. That's the reason I asked. Some people on here actually know I don't ask unless I want an answer from them. The rest of you newbies can wonder what you want thank you. Some people on here know I care about their opinion, and that's why MILLS asked! Now, answer and respect your elders.:good!:

Even if the get swept by Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss, that still leaves 8 games that we SHOULD win next year. That said, I think we win 8, but lose one we should win (probably Auburn), and manage to score one pretty good upset along the way also.

I've got an idea for a new thread. "How many identical threads do yall think we'll make about how many games we will win next year?"

WKU- W
UCLA- W
UF- L
OH- W
AU- W
UGA- W
Bama- L
USCjr- W
Tiger High- W
Ole Miss- L
Vandy- W
KY- L (maybe)

I am confident about most, of my picks. What I would love is to have an upset in one of the ones i picked to be a sure loss. As always happens in first years of a coaching staff, i think there will be a major upset just bc the ball rolls that way, it happens, you know it. I hope its not KY, but then again if it aint KY then its at home to Georgia or one of the other miserable teams we play at neyland

I've got a better idea. Don't post about something I don't care what a newbie thinks about a thread I started. How about that newbie. If you don't have a 100 post yet leave us old timers alone. This is AMERICA. Free speach you know, or have you not taken american history yet. LOL.:eek:lol:

Do newbies not have the right to free speech as well? Forgive my ignorance of the US Constitution as it applies to VN

10-2...
Tied for SEC East...
Play LSwho in SEC championship...
win... 11-2...
play for NC...
against (who cares they all pale in comparison)...
TN prevails...
Thusly...
Pandemonium Reigns!!!

But in all seriousness, my gut tells me this:
Western Kentucky W
UCLA W
At Florida L
Ohio University W
Auburn W
Georgia ?
At Alabama L
South Carolina W
Memphis W
At Ole' Miss ?
Vanderbilt W
At Kentucky W

--- and who cares how many we have... I say keep them coming... then right before the season merge all 1 million of them for kicks a giggles!

Although, I would agree in some areas our talent is lacking in some areas. I think we have better talent than some may think. Now that we have coaches to use this talent better and get the athletes we have heard about for some time on the field and making plays, I think we will surprise some people. But, I do agree its going to be hard to win more than 9 games next year.

We don't lose at home this season. That's a trend of the past. We drop 2 on the road, bama and florida. We barely get by ole miss, and we hammer kentucky.

This is by far the best schedule CLK could hope for in his first season... It gives him the chance to get acclimated with the tempo of college football again before a road sec game.It also gives him 2 weeks to experience the tradition and passion for Tennessee football (game day trumps anything he's told, or thinks he knows about it). with that being said, I think the florida loss is a close one, and bama beats us by 2 touchdowns

i can maybe see the Alabama game as going our way... but its almost as close as I think the FL game will be. Our defense should be stout... these won't be blow outs... I just don't know how well our offense will be able to go after these 2 teams. So I am with you with that wait and see...

Don't really know have an idea until I see the O. Think defense will be dominant. So I'm saying 9-10 wins. I also don't see what everyone else is seeing in Bama. Their QB situation will not be good.
