Someone said that it looked like there were about 15,000 empty seats even though the attendance was listed at 102,368.

Does anyone that went have good estimate???

I wasn't there, but it looked pretty normal on TV. The PPV guys said there were a few empty seats here an there but nothing widespread.

Ditto what Jackson said. I don't think more than 5K, if that. I mostly noticed empty rows in upper decks of student section and in north end zone.

The upper upper deck was a ghost town. They said the attendance was 102,000 but more than half the people left at halftime. That happens every game i go to. Why do people leave at halftime???

By the 4th qt, maybe 30,000 were left.

Most of the game the crowd was trying to do the wave or just completely ignoring the game. Talking on the phone or text messaging seems to be the "In" thing to do instead of watching football now. To many women in their who go just to be seen.

Please don't tell me you go to the big games.

102k was a stretch, but obviously that was tickets sold. I'm guessing right at 100k. surprisingly I didn't see any paper bags though.

Did Fulmer get booed?

it wasn't significant boos when they did the intros, but they were clearly there. The weird part about it was it started with cheers, but once the cheering crowd heard the boos, the abruptly shut up and you could only hear the slight boos. It's hard to describe in words how it sounded, but maybe someone else who was at the game can help me describe it better.

An awkward silence

Ive been to a couple. There is always a convoy out the door at the half.

And who gives a crap about who we play. I am not leaving a UT game at halftime. Plus just flushing money down the drain like that.
Oh I agree with that, but it is less serious if it is happening against Arkansas State, compared to say, Florida or Georgia.

It was just like that Bill. Boos took over.

The students had a great cheer of B. S on the Chris Brown fumble that was overturned by review. Very entertaining.

Far and away the funniest/most awkward moment of the night was when they blared Journey's "Don't Stop Believin' " after the first Ark St touchdown. They cut it off after about 20 seconds.

LOL. Yes that was retarded.

Also the cops chasing people around on the ramps telling them to stop smoking was hysterical.

A guy got punched in the nose where I was sitting. He bled all over the steps and watching the cops chase the punched and punchee around was great

I have read once all luxury boxes are completed 100,000 will be capacity.I'd imagine tickets will be harder to get and cost more on the streets.

Half the people did NOT leave at half. That is a plain moronic statement. Sure some people leave, but nowhere near half. Not even a quarter.

:lolabove: That was funny...I wondered how many people picked up on that.
