how long does Chief keep the LSU job?

When Miles gets run he will be looking for work. I would like to see him coaching LBs or something in the NFL. I can't pull for him at a SEC school.

I think chief gets another year or two, but he isn't the primary reason I think LSU is on a downward spiral...

I think he's fine, lsu's defense has played pretty well since the season opener. He is the least of their worries right now.

Chavis has been good, whoever is in charge of the offense is the one that should be worried about job security.

He should be one of the safer ones on their staff. The D's been pretty good. It's an offense that's ranked around 100 in the nation and dumb decisions that have hurt them.

I think I read, or heard, somewhere that LSU has lost 8 of their last 15 SEC games. 3rd and Chavis sure isn't helping them out any.

Well, Chavis wasn't there for 5 of those losses. The D held UF to 13, was solid on 3rd down at Bama, and wasn't the reason they lost to Ole Miss. I hated 3rd and Chavis as much as anyone, but this year his D, with good talent, hasn't been the problem with LSU.
