Invokes the "Great Tim Tebow" reference during Saturday's game?

I figure we have enough doom and gloom threads and worries over Florida, might as well make a prediction thread that actually might pan out.

They were both on the SEC pre game show Saturday. Who knows how many times they had to tell Verne to keep his hands above the desk. It's the biggest boner for an athlete that I've ever seen from an announcer.

I voted for Verne drooling. However, he will not say Dobbs looks like Tebow. He will cut to a clip of Tebow and go into great detail about how majestic and beautiful Tebow is.

My favorite moment during the Alabama game was when Gary (on 3rd and 5) said, "I think they're going to go for it."

Too bad fans must endure that pair for what looks like a great match-up Saturday.

Absolutely jealous that Notre Dame fans get Mike Tirico and Doug Flutie every week while we get these 2 goofballs.

As bad as I hate these two, glad to be playing in prime time again ! Not too long ago, it was noon EVERY Saturday on SEC network because no one else wanted us.
(Disclaimer - think I like SEC Network broadcasts better than any of the others)

The poll should be, When does Verne start drinking?
Before breakfast
10 - 2 - 4, and that's not Dr. Pepper
At lunch
Before his first appearance on camera
First commercial break during the game
He keeps it clean, starts tossing 'em down afterwards

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one that caught that. These two are about as bad as it gets.

He will start off the intro to the broadcast with something like this:

Verne: "Hello and welcome to Neyland Stadium for today's game between the Florida Tebow's, and the Tennessee Volunteers. It was in this very setting in 2008 when Tim Tebow led the mighty Gators to a 30-6 romp over the Vols. And what does that have to do with today's game you ask? You'll have to ask Tebow on that one."

Gary: "Well said, Verne."
