How likely is it we land all 3 QBs?

I would have said that too until my convo today.

Yep, Gruden is coming...

I think it's about an 80% chance that they bring in a third QB. The 20% is only if they can't get one of the ones they want.

I was looking at Dormady highlights he can throw the ball pretty good but he doesn't look that fast or quick enough to run our offence like it should be , he is more of a pocket passer, Worley has showed us you cant run this offence if the QB is not a threat to run, not knocking him, I don't know if he really fits our system.

I watched his Hudl film and he can scramble pretty well when he needs to.

He's not a natural runner like Dobbs, but he can move out of the pocket and gain yards with his feet.

Quinten Dormady / J Jennings / Sheririon Jones. Who will it be? Why take 3 when we have 2? Why not take a third with Peterman possibly transferring? SO MUCH TO DISCUSS.

You guy's talk about it here instead of EVERY SINGLE THREAD ON THIS BOARD.

I personally think that if Jennings and Dormady aren't affected then why not? Let them battle it out and move on. These guys shouldn't be scared of competition, and practicing against great competition only brings the best out of a player. Or it shows that they are afraid of competition which is something we don't want, or need.

Try not to be a douche or I'll ask Leb to explain the numbers situation in every single thread in the recruiting forum.

I'll do it. I have the time. :p

Please, do tell. (what you can).:hi:

I don't know. Wish I did have more info. I just asked why the recruitment of Jones. I was told, "I can't say."

I made the comment that I guess I would find out on National Signing day. I was then told, "probably after the bowl game."

I firmly believe this has zero to do with our current 2 commits. Something is brewing that the staff doesn't want out.

The rumors of Peterman leaving after the bowl game are really strong at the moment. If he does leave, CBJ will not risk letting the QB situation play out like RB did this year. He will take 3 if the right 3 are available. Jones would be the right fit for our needs and system. Injuries will as usual play an important role next season.

The Peterman rumors are being reported by several reporters on different sites. Otherwise, I wouldn't mention it.

I am not sure they are recruiting Sherrion(sp?) as a QB. He might be an Emanuel Moseley type player.

No way. Sherrion is a QB all day. He isn't near the athlete Jennings is and if one of those 2 ended up at a different position its Jennings because of his freakish athletic ability. Sheriron is a pass first QB and doesn't like to run often. He is a sit in the pocket and beat you with his arm type QB. He really should be labeled a prostyle QB.

No offence but Alabama is not known for producing great QBs.

Doesn't mean they don't have eyes to spot a great QB. AJ was a 5 Star, Cornwell was highly rated, they have another 5* QB committed now. That is a different offense with Kiffin calling plays. Saban has a reputation as being a run first, power run game Coach so his offenses aren't usually gonna get a stud QB that is kill you with his arm. But looks like things are changing there and they are getting top ranked QB's and Receivers to go with all those RB's. Really hope Kiffin gets the hell out of Tuscaloosa soon.
