How is Chizik Better Than Kiffin?

I mean really i've seen a bunch of "ranking the SEC head coaches and a good number of them had Chizik (Auburn) in front of CLK. There is absolutely nothing that Chizik it better at than Kiffin nothing. If you look at experience at head coach, you may think Chizik has more experience but they actually both have the same number of wins as a head coach (5) expect Kiffin's came in the NFL and Chiziks came in the Big 10. And both as coordinators Kiffin had 2 heisman trophy winners and a National championship and Chizik had some good Auburn defenses. Advantage Kiffin Recruiting wise, while Chizik has done well, Tennessee put together a 10 top class and brought in nations top recruit. Advantage Kiffin. In terms of staff, theres really no competition. The only read decent coordinator Chizik brought it was Malzahn, who had some beast offenses at Tulsa and Arkansas, well, again Lane Kiffin had 2 heisman trophy winners at USC, the top ranked offense and a NC. And don't even get me started on defense, Tennessee wrecks (who's better than Monte, Orgeron and Thompson). Advantage Kiffin. So for all you people that think Chizik is a better hire/coach than Kiffin, your an idiot.

But anyways.... I'm off and will be back in an few and see what you guys have to say...

I wouldnt worry about it...probably only have Chizik ahead since he's coached more college games and thats it...need a year and some games under their belts before you can even compare.

I agree. It just doesn't matter. We know who is on top and we know that is where Kiffin wants to be.

Time will tell. Until then, who cares.

I hope Chizik turns out doing well. I like the idea of a competitive conference where most teams are loaded with about the same amount of talent and the coaching abilities play more of a role than the current haves and have nots. I kind of like when teams with obvious inferior talent spank up on so called top notch programs. Kinda like what happened to Alabubba last year.

People rank Chizik higher because they like him better. No one put him higher right after he was hired. They just don't like Kiffin's mouth, so they ignore his superior staff and recruiting class and assume that a big mouth makes him a worse coach.

wow as much as i hate saban he is way better than meyer. meyer has two ncs but he got it with an already decent florida team and tim tebow/percy harvin. Saban would have at least two ncs had he stayed at lsu, AND he took a crappy as he11 bama team and almost brought them to a nc in two years with normal talent. Yes urban beat saban but it was clear floridas talent was too much for bama no matter who was coaching that game.

Meyer's career winning % is over 80%. He has never lost more than four games in a season. It's not just Florida. In fact, his first season at Florida was his worst as a head coach. Ever. 9-4 is as bad as it gets for him.

These two picks are obvious and until someone knocks those two off, they're the top.

I guess since Chizik has won a college game, that would be my guess why he's ahead of Kiffin. But on second thought who really cares, the media hates Kiffin. Kiffin just has to go out there and back it up and prove that he's not a joke. Yes Kiffin was a head coach for Oakland, but do you really consider him as the head coach for that franchise? We all know who runs that organization.

Chizik may not last 2 years at Auburn. Bobby Lowder will not put up with a bunch of losses in the SEC. He's probably looking around for a replacement right now.
