Better based on the way we have brought in transfers to offset the players we have lost.

My expectations are lower than normal. I just want to see the team compete and actually look like they want to be out there doing it. Dare I say, have fun?!! We have not had that in several years.

Obviously it's still too early, but you could see the improvement in the Spring with the guys that were "first team ".
So I'm optimistic about the defense.

Offense neutral (neutral b/c no heir apparent at QB), defense upgrade. Total Team, no clue because any chance of exceeding expectations this year hinges on good QB play. But I do like JH and his staff and culture they seem to be building...over a period of time that’s very important.

I guess I still have the same feeling, but for the fact that I'm starting to get excited for football to be back, in general. I'm cautiously optimistic, and I've said to may people that there will be plenty of time for this staff to piss me off in the future, so until they do I'm just going to hope for the best. I can be pissed off later.
