I have uploaded some pictures lately and they're effing huge. I use photbucket as my hosting site and then add the direct link into add image. What do I need to do to have a normal size pic?

600 wide seems about right?

photobucket offers some very nice, new (to me at least) editing tools... you can really do a lot on their site now...

just click edit on you pictures in your albums to resize/add text/etc.

I like Microsoft Image Resizer. You can get it here (scroll down a little ways):
Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP

The nice thing is that once it is installed, you only need to right click the image icon, select resize, then select the size you want. No need to open the image in a different program.

PowerToys aren't well publicized, but several are really good...

I use Open Command Window Here and TweakUI a lot..

TweakUI offers config options for a lot of XP settings and gives an easy shortcut to XP's Group Policy editor...

Open Command Window will open a DOS/command-line screen (whatever you want to call it) to a particular directory... for example, if you have a folder buried deep in the folder tree in Program Files, you can navigate to that folder, right click, and you'll see "Open Command Window Here"... it will save you having to type "cd Program Files/dir/dir/dir/dir/etc/etc/etc" !!!!!

I use this when emailing pictures usually. Convenient program. :good!:

Using the IMG Code in Photobucket is best/easiest for forums I have found.
