How did Iowa win 10 games?

The only speed in the Big 10 is Ohio State and maybe Michigan. That'll change next year when the Pac 6 joins the conference. I believe those teams from the west coast will take over the Big 10. With Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC next year, the SEC will only get stronger across the board.

Will the SEC officials still favor Bama next year?

big 10 west is straight garbage.

only 1 of their offenses cracked the top 100 offenses, and it was 86th, we played 8 or 9 offenses better than that this year. its easy to have good defensive numbers when the offenses you play are trash.

they also played a lot of one score games, so its not like they won 10 games convincingly.

it was literally a case of their had to be a "winner" in the Big 10 west because they play each other. and Iowa just so happened to be the one to come out on top.

Big 10 has 4 respectable programs and none of them are in the Big Ten West. Has to be the dumbest division set up ever. You clearly needed to put the Michigan schools in one division and OSU/PSU in the other.

I dunno man. Kind of looking forward to USC or Oregon having to go to Ann Arbor or Iowa City in December.

Playoffs next year should be interesting with the first rounds on campus. If a few of the northern B10 games get home field games-could be trouble. Hell of lot easier to throw the ball around when it's 70 and sunny than 15 degrees and snowing.

Unreal, Vandy would destroy Iowa
That sounds like hyperbole but it's really not. Last night, I was seriously thinking that Iowa is at best 1-6 if they play the entire SEC East, and Vandy was the only possible win I could give them, but I think I take Vandy straight up against them if I was forced to bet something significant on one or the other.
