Yes he did. He did a lot of growing up last night. I cant wait to watch him for 3 1/2 more seasons.

I don't know if he'll be here that long. Also, it is good to see us outrebound a team that was supposedly great inside.

I love his aggressiveness.

Chism still seems a little tentative out there.

Their combined stats are really good... since they're hardly ever on the court at the same time, I think combined they're averaged 15 and 11. Nice production at the 5 for two Freshman.

You really think Duke could go to the NBA, or at least declare, within a year or two?

Very solid performance from Duke last night. It's fun to watch these young guys grow from game to game. I think the best thing is that Crews had a big game against a solid team with solid post players.

duke really struggled against Kent St tonight. I think they may fall apart when they go on the road in the ACC.

oh wait... wrong duke. I think that Duke has a lot of potential. Like him more every time i see him. I think he's NBA potential, but unless he just explodes, I think he'll stay til his jr year. it'd be nice to see him become the best high school player ever from his high school.

Duke's game on the offensive end still has alot of room for improvement, but he did play well against Okie St., a team that should've been well superior to us inside. That is definitely encouraging, with the SEC schedule coming soon to an arena near you. I think he is starting to grow up. I like his aggressiveness. I could definitely see him being a leader on this team.

On the other freshmen:
Ramar also looks better over the last two games. Pearl's confidence in him is improving as well, as he seemed to get more second half playing time vs. Oklahoma State than Jordan Howell did and was in the game at the end with the game on the line. Also, don't forget that Ramar came in late with the eligibility issues, and he has had less time with Pearl than the other freshmen.

Josh Tabb looks to be a solid defender, but definitely needs to work on his offensive game.

Unfortunately, Wayne Chism seems to be coming along a little slower. He seems to have pretty good range on his jumper, and pretty good touch for a PF/C. From what I've seen, I think that he can knock down the 15 footer from the baseline pretty consisently. He just doesn't seem aggressive enough to me on the offensive end, and just seems to have a hard time finishing around the basket. I think he just needs to have a good game to give him some confidence.

And our other freshman, Marques Johnson, seems to be exiled to end of the bench.

With these freshmen being expected to contribute, I really didn't alot out of this year's team. I thought that we were definitely a bubble team for the NCAA, but unless we just totally collapse in the SEC season, it looks like we'll be dancin' again. Woo-hoo!
