How Are the Recruits Reacting??

Fans booing a miserable QB who looks and plays like his mustache is a dirty sanchez? I am going to go out on a limb and say the recruits did not react well.

I think booing definitely hurt any chances of impressing the recruits. It is distasteful to boo your own team.

Look at the bright side. Some players, Cody Riggs for example, will get to see you play again next week as well.

I was at the game. They were laughing their ass off by the start of the fourth quarter. A lot of the Vol gear they had on at the start of the game had come off by then too.

The recruits will be fine. If they don't want to come here for fear of having to deal with some adversity, then they should consider not playing D-1 or SEC football.

If they're talented enough they could always come play for us. They wouldn't have to be prepared for what happened to UT today if they committed to UF.

No... he's serious.

You're the clown of this board. Nobody listens to you about anything. "Your team" is the defending national champions. So our fans are really that much better than Florida's bandwagon fans or you just have no life?

Come on, that is the ultimate homer sentiment and I'm sick and tired of hearing it. Recruits want to go to a place where they think they will win at-other teams in D1 and the SEC are doing that without all of the "adversity." Just because they aren't dying to play for a team who has been as bad as we have over the last few years does not mean that they are unwilling to fight adversity.

A let's go Crompton chant did get going before the 4th and 9... that sure didn't help either.

Hey, don't get mad at me. Take it out on Kiffin, he's the one that put you in this position. If he hadn't talked so much people wouldn't have such high expectations for UT. Now that he's talked everybody expects UT to be better than they are.

If our fans don't have high expectations, then we are irrelevant.
