I love their determination and not giving up when they were down....great WIN!!! Go get Rutgers!

You nailed it. With about 10 minutes to go they were roadkill, but they completely slammed the door on UNC over the final 8 minues.

Great win tonight. Rutgers plays great defense, but I'm not sure if their defense is any better than UNC's.

Whew, another nail biter, but this time it went our way. Great job Lady Vols, 1 more to go!

It really showed how great Candace Parker really was along with the rest of the team. They showed they can handle any situation. She sayed it best when they battled adversity.

Way to go Lady Vols...great win. BUT,:yikes: that may have been THE UGLIEST basketball game I have ever watched!

Rutgers will probably put 3 to 4 people on CP every time she gets the ball...similar to what they did to Fowles tonight.

rutgers ignored a couple of lsu women and dared them to shoot some outside jumpshots...they basically played 5 on 4 most of the game

they can't do that against the ladies from TN or they will get smoked.

i was thinking the same thing. bobbit, spencer, and hornbuckle made some great defensive plays, but for most of the game (excluding a couple of made 3's by bobbit), they couldn't hit a shot to save their life. how many layups did hornbuckle miss? like 7 or 8? and it seems like more often than not, spencer goes ice cold when the team needs to make a shot. but even if they have some struggles offensively, i still love the team's effort and heart, they want it badly, and i think they will come through.

North Carolina deserves some credit for that. It seemed very hard to get a shot that was not heavily contested. If Rutgers leaves people open then they are done. Bobbit is over 40% on 3s all year and if Parker has too many people on her then someone will get an opportunity for an easy layup..

my mom told me that the 2 midgets got into it during the game. I assume she was reffering to Latta and Bobbit. What happened?
