I'd bet Houston wouldn't be charged. Arrangements (deals) could easily be made.

I'll take that deal all day long. I'm telling you, driving him out is WAY better than firing him. We should have done that with Dooley. Except Dooley didn't have a better option so he probably would have stuck it out and took the abuse.

Someone from Swains show has a theory that Houston was going to hire him away until he lost to Vanderbilt. Now that he's done that, they're backing away.

That's a little far fetched I think but just for kicks If true, I hope we blow out our bowl opponent and get him reconsidered for some jobs out there.

I realize this would make us worse before we got better. I realize our AD is a little chaotic right now without leadership. But I'd rather not wait til we're in the complete gutter before we have to fire him. If this is butch coaching top 10ish recruiting classes, what will we look like once recruiting takes a skid??? Ohh yeah. Y'all remember. 5-7.

Houston is a place where up and coming coaches go to showcase their talents and prove themselves. Not a place where proven failures run away into obscurity.

This is my concern. We end up watching this turn into more of an embarrassment than we've seen in the past (and we've seen our share of embarrassments).

This absolutely says they are going to hire Butch Jones and If I was Butch with our fans I would Take it they have produced top coaches and with Butch already having a good rep this would probably be the best for him now. He could go there win big with easy schedules and up his stock he is topped at Tennessee and I think he will get fired before he gets a chance to build us a winner and he could do it at Houston and get another great job down the road. And if he Does Tennessee hires Les Miles!

There coach they lost just lost to Memphis! Vanderbilt looks better sorry I would be alot more mad if they lost to Memphis.
