If Pearl is gone and we cant land a huge proven winning coach....why not give a guy like Houston Fancher a shot. He has HC experience, a winning record, and seems like a "Dooley" type guy. He was 2003 Southern Conference coach of the year. He won The Southern Conference Championship in 2003, 2007, and 2008. Now I know the Southern Conference is not SEC level, but everyone needs the chance and a place to prove themselves. JMO

How about Randy Lambert at Maryville College, he has a winning record and really values academics... 12 straight years with 20 plus wins.

Houston is a pretty good guy and has some experience with coaching, but Tennessee will never be handing the reigns over to him.

we need someone hungrier than that. I say Mark Blevins needs a new challenge

I dont know Fancher at all, I was just reading his bio on other sites and saw some of his accomplishments and wanted ya'lls opinion. No skin off my back...

I will refer to other threads to get ya'lls "professional" opinions about who our next coach will be...:tease2:
