WaW was my favorite CoD game and it has been borderline unplayable for two years. I can't believe people actually enjoy doing this.

I threw in COD 4 a year or so back and everyone was walking in the sky, shooting from inside walls, and whatever crazy crap you could think of. It was somewhat entertaining for about a minute.

on a somewhat related note, my son used to really do a number on my computer whenever he'd play Counter Strike:Source and have to download the crap associated with a modded server (or whatever it was).

Same. This was my favorite game of the series, but it's mostly been ruined by this stuff. The last two times I've popped it in my console in the past year I've seen everything from people floating around and walking in the air above the map to a host altering the color filter to give the game-play an "acid trip" look to it. It's apparently more fun for some to play the maps when they have a pink or blue hue to them for whatever reason......

Pretty ridiculous.

I didn't like it at all when it came out, but i suppose i've "matured" as a FPS gamer, I'd like a WW2 shooter that wasn't published by Activision. As much as it sucks being a DICE fan having to bow to the EA God, I trust they'd do it well, as in the past.
