Strictly a guess - but I am thinking that people with little to no body fat might be more susceptible to the effects of cold than the rest of us. It would be a concern and precautions should be taken to keep him warm and his hands warm as the colder weather hits.

I've seen this before. Saw it just a couple of days ago, in fact.

He's trying to cough up a fur ball. My cat does that crap all the time. Repeated spasm-like contraction of the core of the body, just like this.

It's my medical diagnosis that Hendon ate something that gave him fur balls just before the Clemson game.

It's probably no coincidence that he was playing the Clemson TIGERS that night, and we're about to face the Kentucky WILDCATS on Saturday.

This is how science works. You find the correlation, then you assume the causation. It's how all the cool kids, and most journalists do it.

So let's just keep Hendon away from furry things for the next few days. Give him some ice cream each evening, that will help. And for the sake of all that is pure and good in the world, do NOT let him hear about anyone rubbing anyone else's rock. That's just obscene.

Haha. Lad's gonna be fine, probably just had hiccup-cramps.

Go Vols!

I apologize if this has been addressed already, but apparently Hooker struggled really bad in cold weather last year. Temps will be in the low 30s on Saturday (and I'm sure going forward).

Does anyone know what happened here and if it was just an isolated incident?

Virginia Tech quarterback Hendon Hooker struggled with cold weather against Clemson, not a medical condition

I think it was more Clemson defense last year than weather! VT sux

Kickoff temperature Saturday night will be low to mid 50s. Dropping into the mid 40s by the end of the game. It’ll be chilly, but nothing severe.
If Aaron Rodgers can play in Green Bay winter, HH should not have trouble with low 50' and 40's. At least, let's hope not!

It was chilly at the Ole Miss game.
Maybe he will have some thermals this time around.

I disagree with this premise. I despise the cold, and there are those that suggest I could…lose a few pounds.

Maybe we can petition the SEC to let Hook wear a sweater, like in hockey.🤷‍♂️

I'd have to believe that Hooker is probably sick and tired of that story. Hell, I'd expect him to go out there without a jersey and pants, if he could, just to shut folks mouths.

Yeah, the game doesn't kickoff at 4am, not to mention they have revised the forecast.
