Hooker’s passing and no interceptions in two games

325 yards passing and no interceptions in two games. He had 221 in the first game, and it has been very impressive passing the ball. I’m looking forward to seeing him slinging it on down the road here.

Hooker is a very effective QB. He does everything you want. His 1st 3 series were bad tonight. However Tillman played his worst game since Heupel has been here as far as drops go.

He tossed a few of em higher than they should of been and had some 2021 Milton-esque deep balls, but the stats don't like..dude's pretty good.

I wonder if it’s just nerves. He was like that in a few games last year (Ole Miss was one) where it took nearly the first quarter for him to relax.

I felt he had an off day as far as passing goes. Add to that about 3, (at least), drops from CT and we appear inconsistent. Hopefully it was due to our opponent. If so, we're likely better than the numbers show. Still too early in the season to judge correctly.

The only td pass I recall being “dropped” was by Tillman and it wasn’t caught because the db pulled Tillman’s left arm down and it should have been interference. He would have had to of made an amazing one handed catch there. What other td passes were dropped?

He should've caught a slant over the middle late in the game. Wasn't a TD, but would've been a big gain.

The announcers were pointing out in the Ball State game that he was over-striding on his overthrows.

Every time a defense leaves a cb on an island to guard Tillman then we need to throw that way. His combination of size and speed makes him a one on one mismatch IMO

That’s the only one I can remember possibly dropped.

However the TE catch was a mere inches from a TD, and I think there was one more.

Could have easily been 4 passing TD’s.

Not quite where He was last season, but even the % is still pretty good at 67. Hopefully his longer passes will start to land at a higher rate.
