First let me preface this, because I'm a Gator fan, I'm not flaming because I pretty much know how many of you are feeling now. When my buddy called me the day after Christmas to tell me UM retired I was crushed. All I could think about was how screwed we were. I tried to get on GatorCountry and it had crashed from all the traffic. My FB was flooded with my non Gator buddies spewing hate on my page. So I'm not here to bust balls. I posted many times on here after Kiffen signed that I was happy you guys had a fire lit under you & your fanbase again. We seemed to have our rivalry back. That third game each year really meant something again. So my question: Do you really think that UT is a better now than before Kiffin was hired? And, do you believe it was because of LANE or Monty or the coaches as a group or moreover just the players and fans BELIEVING that they are something again?

Some Gators I'm sure are talking chit and I'm sure if I get a smart comment tossed my way I will toss back. But, I'm not going to blast UT because it isn't UT that was messed up (although I thought you guys were close to playing with fire by hiring him but I never would've imagined this) but it was UT that got screwed. I want UT to get a big time coach again because I liked the having a rivalry again. I liked talking smack for months in advance about our upcoming game. I liked that "oh chit" feeling before kickoff because I had a little bit of concern for it. It's good for the both our schools and it's good for the SEC. The haters are going to hate so don't let it get to you. Soon enough (although it feels like forever) we will be talking smack again awaiting that third game in the fall. Good luck with the search....

i definitely think the program was "heading" in the right direction. but with this year's recruiting class probably being decimated, it's hard to think that we're a better program now, than 14 months ago.

what's crazy is, i'm not shocked kiffin went to usc, i figured if that job ever came open, he would be interested. what i am shocked about, is that usc offered him the job.

the preverbial hammer is about to come down on usc for the whole reggie bush thing, and i'm shocked that usc's AD brought back two of the coaches who were heavily involved with that whole situation.

usually when the ncaa comes knocking, you need to keep a low profile, usc's AD figured otherwise.
