Honest Predictions for 2019

What are your honest expectations for 2019? Almost certainly in the 6-8 win range this year. I'm going to say 7, with a bunch of nail-biter games.

I'd be more shocked if we missed a bowl than with 9 wins though.

1. Due to close nature of most losses, we will be a "trendy" top 25 for 2020. We will be #23 in the preseason in 2020.
2. The theme next summer will be "Can we win close games"
3. OL will be a little better but we will be unable to churn out short yardage situations. Pressure will ramp up for Friend.
4. We will lay one egg this year at Mizzou. We will be competitive against Bama (for 3 quarters), UF, and UGA.

Either 6 or 7 but I voted 7 because I’m being optimistic.

We still don’t have the horses to compete with Bama, UGA, or UF.

I think we can beat Vandy, UK, and USCe and the OOC games. Or Maybe we lose to BYU but beat Mississippi State because the team plays better as the season progresses.

Just play hard, look well coached, and don’t lose by 25+ to the big 3. Get a nice bowl win vs anyone. Land a top 10 class and let’s head to 2020.

I said 7 games but i could see 8. I think we will go 4-0 on the ooc. I believe we will win one game we shouldn’t and lose one game we shouldn’t. I think we beat miss st but lose to Scar. since Missouri is at the end of the season, we will probably be hurt by injuries and fatigue, so we will lose that game. Vandy and Kentucky should be wins and FL,GA,Bama will be losses.

SO THAT WAS YOU????? (We saw a guy running down the street naked after the game and my fiance (now wife) and a friend of hers were hanging out the vehicle window yelling at the guy after the game. About 20 seconds after that, a Gator fan threw a beer bottle at my fiance as we were driving away. Much like the 2 point conversion, the throw was off target....

IMO it comes down to the DL. Until we see them, I don't think you can predict much of anything. If they play well, UT could surprise some teams. If they play poorly, UT could struggle with the worst teams on their schedule.

Same. Paddy Wagon for me, disorderly on campus during my tenure there from 2000-2004. After the home opener against Southern Miss of all the times LOL!

I agree, but CJP has to get us to 7 wins or he is probably not the answer. If Kiffin can get us to 7 wins with 2 walk-ons on the OL, surely CJP can piece together a decent DL of 3 and 4 star athletes and scheme around deficiencies. He has to get higher rated recruits and it becomes easier to sale his vision with wins.
