Is anyone else excited for the release of this game? I think it has the potential to be awesome.

I'm looking forward to it.

To be honest with you, I haven't played much of anything over the last month. Not much out there has sparked my interest.

Ive been mostly playing Halo: Reach. I haven't bought or rented a game in like 4 months. That may change when Homefront comes out.

I am. I'm about bored with COD now.

One day they will finally put together a video game that has the size of Oblivion and is a first person shooter where you are dropped into combat and actually play live against everyone else on the site. 1000 on 1000 battles that aren't limited to just a little map.

I dream for that day.

Last time my mind was blown away was Halo 1.

I'm sorry. The citizens of the US itself would wipe the floor with an invading Korean army. I've seen their arsenal of guns. I'm not impressed.

They were originally going to go with a Chinese Empire as the enemy, but there was alot of backlash so they went with a unified Korea.

Yeah I remember reading something about that. Because of inter-dependance and all, a situation involving Korea seems more plausible anyway

In present reality, yes. However, in the games universe, America has been weakened by a number of different things, a recession, disease, etc. and the Korean Army is well-funded and massive.

I had a bad feeling about this one, it had the "too good to be true" feeling that operation flashpoint did.

I just talked to a couple of buds who got early copies they said the hit detection was horrendous. One completed the story mode and said the story was horrible. They both also said what you said Gator it was like a ps1 version of Battlefield but not even that good. Well i guess i will throw this disk in the trash glad it costed me a dollar not 65.
