When does Neyland become the Neyland of old again. The Bammers were louder in their stadium on Saturday night than UT has been in over 3 years. I would say the last time Neyland was actually loud was the year of the "Field Goal" against Florida.

The Cal game last year was extremely loud and animated almost the whole game as was the Florida game last year.

We won that game and no it wasn't that loud. I remember watching games at my uncles and he couldn't turn his receiver up past halfway on defense. Now he turns it up and its 3/4 and our crowd isn't as loud as it used to be.

To many senior citizens in the stands. That's one thing i've always noticed about neyland. It's also the reason phil isn't gone yet.

Are you talking about how loud it sounds on TV? If you are, you've got to be kidding! That all depends on the placement of microphones for the broadcast. It has very little to do with the amount of crowd noise in the stadium.

Fact of the matter is if you're not in the stands you can't tell how loud it really gets. Cal in 06 was almost as loud as UF 04 (which is the loudest I've been to).

Bama 06 had its moments.

But until UT beats a marquee team at home (say UF or UGA) it won't be loud again
