Holgorsen is classless

All the whining about us getting scored on. Jeez.

Better get used to it. Think AU, UGA, and Bama will call off the dogs?? I doubt it.

Oh come on! Greer is a Heisman candidate with a full blown advertising campaign behind him. And it is well deserved as he is probably the best QB we will see!

That last TD was there for the taking and you can't blame them for taking the shot! And that is what it was--like shooting fish in a barrel.

Our day will come!

To mybloodrunnithorange, you are dead wrong in saying that we would have gone for the score with the. game in hand.Look back at anyTennessee games that this sec nario would fit,and you will see us taking a knee.Possibly, you shouldjust keep on with your dungeons and dragons to tryto get high score. It was a low classless move.Back in the day,BYU used to run the score up on opponents at the end of the game just to make them look all powerful.Their coach was classless. At a bowl game they played attheend of this coaches career, the opposing team left their starters in and I believe they hung 70 on BYU.

We would have passed for the endzone on 1st down inside the opponent's 20 with 2 minutes to play? Doubt it. Still, stop them if you don't like it.

I seem to remember last year and the year before when UT had a chance to run up the score and didn't, some here were frustrated that Jones didn't take a few shots to get a last minute meaningless TD. Remember folks, it's the defenses job to stop them. However, karma can you bite you in the arse when least expected and WVU will be on the receiving end at some point this year. I expect Holgorsen will say or do something that embarrasses the University at that time.

Holgorsen looks like a recent divorced man going through a mid life crisis who has just returned from a weekend in Vegas filled with booze, hookers, and drugs 😂

This seems to be his best W Va team a lot of playing experience was the big difference today. I think he still loses the last two games of the season to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. The rest of their schedule is not that difficult. They do a great job of protecting their QB and he has the WR's that can beat one on one coverage and he has the ability to make the throws when they do so.
We didn't do much against their defense today because the OL got off to a slow start and I didn't think we attacked through the air enough. They looked very vulnerable against the pass and would've like to see us air it out a lot more on first down. I think teams like Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will score a lot on them. Any team with a solid OL will allow their QB to eat up their secondary all day long.

HOLGERSON will be Fired in three years. Tennessee under Pruitt will be back on top. That outcome yesterday was Predictable. We Were Just HOPING! Hope can't make plays; Players do. Jeremy will get the players. That's all.

Relax. WVU won't be around when the playoff field is set, and if they are, they'll get killed by the SEC rep.

I said this before, this is the peak of WVU football. UT is just now coming off of the low tide of the last 40 years, if not more. Two teams at opposite ends of the spectrum, and now headed in opposite directions. Today they caught us at the bottom, and we ran into them at the top. It is what it is.

Grier is special. They have a lot of talent on offense. Holgerson is completely classless. He'll get his, on national TV.

So, relax. Bookmark this post, and get back with me in two years when UT is on top of the SEC, and WVU is still looking for a playoff slot.

Go Vols.
I hope it only takes 2 years

Don't count TCU out either. Patterson can coach. But you are right. WV plays NOBODY until "Cough" Texas Nov 3! That said, they could lose their last 4! One can hope.

Spot on right here, and it's not hard to understand this at all! I told my son yesterday that I would love to have WVU again in 3 years, they would get a whole new Vols team indeed

3 years from now, every team in college football will be different. You are such a wise Sage!!!

I don’t think it was classy to get a last minute touchdown but it was the right read against the defense that we put out there. I mean, we were begging them to throw it by stacking up the box and leaving the receivers in man without help.

Holgorsen has never had class so who really cares? His team beats ours and he kept throwing the ball because on top of winning games he is trying to win a Heisman for his QB. Padding his QB's stats should be expected. We did have 11 players on the field on defense that had the opportunity to stop him. Can't blame Holgorsen for that.

I'm waiting for the day other fans whine about us running up the score. That will be a very fine day, indeed.

If they go for two then it's an issue but, even then it's just a 'revenge' memory put back for a dish served cold.

Don't sweat the small stuff, you might have had the expectation bar set a little high for a West Virginia encounter.

True...... but I would like to have seen Grier get clobbered ...... not injured..... just the hell knocked out of him

Yeah. For sure. I feel like if he plays an elite team and gets hit really good he will shut down a little. We got some very mild pressure on him at times and it caused a few overthrows.

Well if you don't want someone to run the score up, you shouldn't let them run the score up. This is big boy football, not T-ball.
