Holding out hope for a JJ return!

It wasn't broke, but Merry Christmas.

The specific action Vol Nation is proud of Jauan for is being in good academic standing. If you aren't happy about a student-athlete being in good academic standing, then you're the one with the problem and it has nothing to do with anything other than the academic standing that was in the statement if you go back and actually read it this time.

Friday, I talked to a walk on WR who just graduated a couple days ago. I asked him how the team felt about JJ. He said he after the GA game last year he did kinda get a big head but overall is a great guy and thinks most players would love to have him back on the team.

I'm a student at UT and I saw JJ in the building where most of my classes are all semester. I passed by the guy a few times a week. I think it is safe to say that he was attending classes. The rumor that he quit going to class is just that... A rumor.

I don't know if it's a good idea to risk a scholarship on JJ when it could be given to another WR with skills. I have my doubts that he wouldn't check out mid-season and leave TN short yet another player. It won't bother me if he's already played his last down for TN. But if CJP and Fulmer want to take a chance on him I won't question it unless it implodes later. They have far better information than anybody posting here has. If they let him return, fine. If they let him return and JJ screws up yet again and is run, I'll have no disagreement with anybody that skewers CJP and Fulmer for taking that risk. I might even join in on the coach and AD bashing.
