Individual game tickets for four University of Tennessee home football contests, including the next home game against Northern Illinois, remain available for purchase online at utsports.com, via phone at (800) 332-VOLS and at Thompson-Boling Arena. The Vols host the Huskies in a 7 p.m. Eastern time kickoff, with VideoSeat pay-per-view carrying the telecast.

Other games available are Mississippi State (Oct. 18), Wyoming (Nov. 8) and Kentucky (Nov. 29).

Tickets for Northern Illinois and Wyoming are $40 each plus shipping and handling. Tickets for Mississippi State and Kentucky are $50 each plus shipping and handling.

I bet the tickets outside the gate will be pretty cheap. I went to a game back in '88 when we started out 0-6, people couldn't give the tickets away. It is almost that bad now.

PPV I think signed a contract to do this game and the Wyoming game. I doubt many will buy these two games, which could lead to games without any TV coverage at all.

The only reason I think people will buy it, is because Kesling is so bad.

I remember 1988 too. People would put tickets on the cork board in the lunch room on Monday and they would still would be there on Friday.
