Heard on local radio the hosts talking about what the Saban hire would have been like if Twitter existed in its current form.

Total search took almost 6 weeks.

Three weeks passed after Rich Rodiquez accepted then turned them down.

People thought Mal Moore was incompetent (AD) and there was no way he'd land Saban.

This was after the Dubose, Franchione, Price, Shula debacles.

Would have been crazy

I’m just guessing here, but I think more and more coaching hires will be influenced by social media. On the good side, it will provide another level of vetting (unfortunately, there is a lot of chaff that comes along with that wheat).
