Until UT spends the money to bring in a big time coach we will struggle. Prime example is Alabama (communist bastads)!

The notion that this University can't afford another buy out is complete non sense. The university is raking in the cash. From boosters, to tuition. The university is making big bucks. The university is smart enough to know that it would be a long term investment if they can a coach. However, I believe they have already made the decision to keep him til the end of next season and see where we are then.

We've been through three coaching changes since Fulmer and this "big money" coach that Tennessee can afford to throw money at has yet to materialize. Perhaps it's time for Tennessee fans to accept and appreciate that this is not Ohio State or Alabama and no one is leaving the pros or a great job somewhere else to come here. If we couldn't get Gruden or someone of his caliber then, we ain't now.

Our Athletics department is the only thing more disappointing than this football team.

Look at their recent history of baseball, basketball, and football coach hires. Hollywood could not write a better script for the ridiculous hires they have made.

Meanwhile the athletic legacy of this school flows into the sewer.

Don't know why Hart and the power brokers at TN can't understand that we can't afford NOT to hire a great coach! :banghead2:

I agree and I wasnt trying to say they would be replacing him I think he will get at least 5 years.

Im just saying that we are getting second rate coaches and you have to spend money to get the good ones.

UT shops at Dollar General while the rest of the league shops at Neiman Marcus.

UT has big money boosters who can pay whatever it takes if a buyout is needed. They want to start winning big, very soon!
