looks like about at 10% margin of victory for her. Any thoughts? Did the 'bitter and clinging to guns and religion' comment hurt him?

Once again, it looks like Clinton is winning the big states that the Democrats would need to win the election over McCain.

The irony is that the guns comment actually hurt Obama amongst the very voters/states that he could win in the general election. Had Hillary made the same comments, there probably wouldn't be any damage to her, especially when she is winning these larger states.

I think what he said in San Fran. came back to bite him with REAL Americans. He can talk his left wing crap out there on the left coast and sooner than later it will come back to ya in everyday America. The longer this race goes on and the more Obama talks, the easier it gets for McCain. Keep talking Obama, keep talking..

I was listening to Obama's "concession" speech last night and I couldn't help but think about cotton candy. It's sweet and everybody seems to love it, but in the end, it's only spun sugar.

For a candidate who's all about "change", his endless bloviating and cliche-ridden drivel is nothing new in Washington.

Exactly. People are starting to see him for what he really is. No more softball questions and playing like he's the new face on the block. He's having to actually define what "change" means and the people don't like it so much any more. Not sure how they could like what HC is saying though.

People are no longer fainting during his hope and change speeches. People are demanding to know what that means now and he has yet to answer. How he could believe that this would ride him through to the White House is beyond me. Whoever is handling his campaign dropped the ball or perhaps there was never any substance there (later being the most likely).

cd the reason I ask is because there are quite a few people that believe he fits the description of the anti-Christ. I usually don't buy into that kind of thing but after watching people faint like he was a rock star it made me wonder for a while. Now that I look back I just think people got a little too carried away with him for a while.

This is the reason I think Obama is better suited for the general election. Hillary is winning all the states that Democrats do well in such as California and Obama is winning in red states and swing states. If Obama goes to the general election he should still be strong in states like California and maybe do better in other states where as Clinton will win the typical blue states and nothing else. It might also be working in Obama's favor to get his skeletons out of the closet now by April because people tend to move on and regurgitated stories don't have the same effect the second time around. Also, the Dem's will take their shots at McCain once the nominee is settled so he will take his hits before November too. Just my opinion but i think this will be a very close election and the VP selections will be crucial.

I want Clinton in the General Election to face McCain. McCain would almost be a shoe-in to win if he faced Clinton.

It's hard to imagine from the other side I'm sure. I wondered the same thing about Mitt Romney. I will agree that I have been disappointed with some of the things coming out of the Obama campaign. I might just vote for Bloomberg since OE likes him. :)
