In all honesty, I don't see how they can some up with that list based on the way they say they calculate it.

To be clear, the rankings are calculated by taking the Top 25 in major winter sports (a No. 1 ranking receives 25 points, a No. 25 ranking receives one point, etc). We give a little more weight to football and basketball (No. 1 gets 37.5 points; No. 25 gets 13.5). We aggregate the scores to come up with our final tally.

That's screwy. It also mentions Bruce's Orange Sport Coat which he ONLY wears against Vandy and UK. You would think a group dedicated to COLLEGE SPORTS would know things like that.

I don't understand Florida's score, either. They should've gotten 37.5 points for football, and 37.5 points for their current #1 ranking in basketball. That would put them in second place to TOSU, and that's only because of the women's programs. Maybe they still can't believe that Florida put the smack-down on TOSU in the BCS Championship game.

The fact that New Hampshire is on the list makes it irrelevant. The fact that they are listed ahead of Florida, Texas, UCLA, and Michigan makes it funny.

Well, what killed me was Minnesota at #4.

Guess whoever the AD is up there will be clamoring for a raise to $48,000 a year, the greedy bastard.

football is a fall sport, so it shouldn't be counted in this "winter" poll. hockey, gymnastics, wrestling and bball get counted into this. How great is UF wrestling and hockey?

Exactly what does Harvard '06 Alum, Teddy Bressman know about collegiate athletics??? If you said 'nothing' you are correct.

Other acceptable answers include, but are not limited to, 'jack', 'sh*t', and 'jacksh*t'.
