It is going to be some sort of thermal design project with Dr. Johnson. We're only doing 1 hour of the course this semester and 4 next... so right now it is pretty laid back. Although he assigned a problem on Tuesday that was supposed to be done in MATLAB for tomorrow and I pulled my hair out on it all day, still never figured it out.

Dr. Johnson's thermal design class was crazy hard when I took it. The amount of work required was >> than the credit hours you got.

Well, wish me luck. You ARE talking about his Capstone, right? I have Dr. Nguyen for "Thermal Engineering" which is also being a pain... there is a nice thing about it though. They added the material from thermo 2 to the front end of it... so I've seen what we've been doing thus far already.

No. I was confusing "Thermal Engineering". Dr. Johnson taught it when I took it. The work load was intense.

I had Dr. Speckhart and Dr. Pionke (sp?) for my senior design project. I went with a mechanical emphasis for my project.

Pionke is cool. The "Mechanical" design is being done by Madukahar. Of course, there is the FutureTruck, with Irick, and Moonbuggy with the visiting professor, Dr. Naumov.

Moonbuggy with the visiting professor, Dr. Naumov.

This sounds like something out of a James Bond movie. :birgits_giggle:

I don't recognize some of these "new" names. Man, it has been a long time...

Naumov is crazy. He does another Capstone called "Microgravity."

I'm taking Intro. to Reliability Engineering with one of the Nuke professors. Its pretty dang interesting.

There was the big job fair last Wednesday... things didn't go well. Most wouldn't take my resume saying they were only looking for May grads. The one that actually talked to me, Lexmark, mainly because my Uncle works there said they were impressed with my job experience but my GPA is entirely too low.

The Co-op fair is Thursday, and I am volunteering there. Maybe I'll get my resume out some then, plus the company I co-oped with will be there, and they said they'd take my resume.
