I don't blame you. I have had to completely adjust my attitude towards UT bball because of this season. Obviously, I now try to stay as positive as possible without ignoring valid negativities.

I'm trying to get excited without becoming too sucked in. I am so used to being let down by this team as soon as I start to believe. One more win would be nice. Any loss after Friday won't qualify as a let down, given our position in the bracket.

This was a huge win, both for this team and future teams.

Every Vol team has to pick up our postseason history. Every SECT or NCAAT win we get makes our history a tick better. Thanks to the 2010 team, the next time we reach the Sweet Sixteen, whenever we do, it won't look like Mission Impossible. Thanks to this team, the next Vol team to reach the NCAAs won't be entering on a three-game NCAAT losing streak, including consecutive one-and-dones to end disappointing seasons. That was avoided.
