so, in your heart of hearts, does Saban=savior, or is it another busted dream for the displaced Tide?

I'm kinda excited. I do think it's going to take time to get back to where we'd like to be. Anyone who thinks we'll win 10 games this year is a little crazy in my opinion.

You seem to be a Bama fan rooted in reason, abandoning the delusional masses. Welcome to Volnation..

Thanks. I try to be realistic. I hope we can get our team back to a competitive level.

We just haven't been there the past several years. I want this Alabama/Tennessee rival to get competitive again.

you want the undiluted view? I'd be of the opinion that Saban could return the crimson boys to former glory, EXCEPT...he revealed a little too much of himself in that pitiable Dolphin exodus. The darker aspect of his coaching character that was put on display there and will, more likely than not, result in yet another Jerry Glanville-ish lost potential downfall. Sorry, my friend...it's 3 (seasons) and out for the Nickster, imo. Tough! But you seem like a nice guy...stick around. Maybe after a couple seasons at the VN, you and LawGator can get together and go bowling one nite. :)

I would disagree with you on Saban's 3 and out.

I would agree, however, that he could've handled the Miami situation better.

:dance2:My opinion is that Fulmer will be gone within 2 years.
