Apparently if you have eligibility and dont get drafted or dont play in pro games, you can just come back to college like the alabama basketball guy (as long as you can find a fanboy judge to rule in your favor). so maybe heupel has been playing chess while everyone else was playing checkers and will find a QB who left school early and didnt get drafted and will just go find his QB, and a pro UT judge to take care of the ticky-tack legal garbage and get him on the team for Spring ball!!! Amiright?!?!?!?

Just bring JA back and deal with the consequences later

This is actually a fair point lol. We’re talking about the NCAA here, who has basically no power in CFB anymore.

Roll out Joey on day 1, pretty sure the NCAA will be like “Hey hey now! You stop that, better not let us see you do this again next year!”

Under the new Michigan Rule, cheat like He77, the CFP committee doesn't care, claim your titles, and thumb your nose at the system.

Maybe the SEC will bar you from the SEC CG (the B10 didn't bar Michigan), but that's no real loss anymore. It's all about the playoff.
